a little better.. i just need to look for my old self and independence here i come.. im still far from my aim so will continue to work towards it.. haha.. hardship, obstacles are inevitable with things that dont always go your way but endure and you will see the light one day.. by then, satisfaction is yours to keep.. yes..!! there are times when weakness is taking over the heart like a hungry monster gobbling up your hopes and dreams, causing you to really want to give up everything.. but push yourself a little harder - look around, there are many facing the same or perhaps worse problems so dont ever lose faith in oneself.. *cheers~*

1st day..
work is as usual today but it just doesnt feels the same without you ard.. people-watched a lot in the afternoon with my mind rather blank actually.. at least it helped to kill some pathetic time as time seemed to be crawling and i realise my life/habits isnt/arent the same as before anymore.. i used to be really ok with being "alone" or always having the urge to meet up with friends and stuff but it all faded away in some way, somehow..
and amazingly, eating veg is kinda acceptable for now..

what the future holds is a mystery that seems like a test to us but is actually a simple puzzle with a good answer if we are strong within...

i suppose working would be a good choice right.. it helps to kill time, keep one busy and creeps into one's mind unknowingly then taking over it with authority like a virus attacking the whole mental system.. it may seems annoying at times but it still brings joy to one when pay day is here after a long day's work... with the money, one can choose to save it for future benefits or spend it at some wants that one finds little joy in...but, it is still a devil that sucks up one's energy and life indirectly that it seems like a natural thing to everyone..

ntu open house was much better than expected.. haha.. with all the lucky draws thingy, campus tour and balloons, it was fun.. =) congrats dear for winning the 3rd prize..!!! wohoo.. thats the most exciting part.. lol... how nice wld it be if a space to study in NTU was guaranteed... ~~~~

holiday~ wohoo.. can exercise.. swimming? badminton? cycling? jogging? lol..

hmmm... suddenly, it seems like we have all the time in the world to do all the stuff we wanted to during our busy student days in singapore poly... living becomes a free-and-easy thing for now - like a bird flying high in the sky, no worries nor obstacles to face with.. it does feels great but planning for the future is still a big issue that we cannot avoid.. to continue studying or to join the workforce?

joining the workforce is good that we start to earn an income which we can officially say "MY money".. with this source of income, we can spend as and when we like because it's "our" money.. for example, getting all the chasing-ever-changing-trends things to satisfy our wants, which isn't that important actually.. on the other hand, we will be facing the real world with different kinds of people.. people from different background, age group, characters.. worse still, hypocrites... we will never know who are we really working with because in this knowledge-based economy, everyone is on their own - in a way that they do things mainly for their individual benefits... in addition, working means lesser free time to spend...

as for studying.. it's just another student-life-package that we will be going through once more.. this time, some changes exist.. for example, a new environment with new friends.. this is not a really good thing to me because i dont wanna have to try to adapt all over again and going to school wont be as motivating anymore without my dearest.. but getting a degree would be a passport to getting a job with better pay.. hmmm.. is it really that important to have a degree?

people around can only give support, comments and ideas... the decision still lies with oneself.. for now, i still wanna enjoy the holidays, living life to the fullest.. especially to be with my dearest.. haha...

yesterday wasnt a very good day.. argued with desmond lee over the same old issue and was very angry but not a heated argument though... couldnt stand his bad attitude and bird face so went out to meet jiesi instead.. had some comfort from her.. it was nice of her to accompany me.. then my mood turned for the better when a funny and cute mms was received from my dearest.. haha.. but still the sadness was lingering somewhere inside.. even till the next day, that is today... din woke up with the everyday-mood today.. wanted to wake up at 8am to read csb but overslept till around 8.45am.. of coz, panicked... lol.. started on csb not long and mr pek sms me.. so sweet to be waiting downstairs for almost an hour.. monkey.. haha.. thanks for accompanying me after school too... hugs.. =)

last night's moon was the biggest and brightest in 52years? dont know if it's true but it was indeed big and very bright last night, lighting up the sea area just beneath it at changi village... woke up early yesterday, good to have received a really nice mms to start the day with... went to school and stayed there until 3+.. best part of staying in sch ytd was to have drank the love water.. lol.. =P
wonder when will be the next time i'd be wearing formal... dont tink it would be in the near future... wohoo.. haha.. as usual. the delicate dish at changi village never fails to satisfy it's customers... *thumbs up* =) it's the second day of the study week.. soon, the exams will be over too... SO SAD...

presentations are going to be over soon, so is the last Term 4 we'll be having in SP.. the ever-so-many-projects have killed lots of our precious time last week and this week.. researching, group discussions, typing report, getting appendices, printing and printing and still printing, binding, doing powerpoint slides, sacrificing precious slp, having late meals... all the stuff related to doing projects.. on one hand, we dread doing it.. but on the other hand, we dont wish to graduate so soon too.. it's so contradicting.. however, i still think that studying is better than graduating.. how i will miss these days in future when i look back at the times spent in school.. sad case.. lol

this week hasnt been a very "healthy" week for me... CNY is coming and i dont wanna miss all the goodies... MUST RECOVER soon.!! hope everything will be gone by friday, the most saturday... hohoho...

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009.!!!

ytd was a really really great day spent with dear.. the 3 surprises were good, quite touched actually... =) lol.. spending the last few moments of 2008 with someone close was really memorable and special.. duno y but felt that 2008 was fading away like an old man's heart stopped with the last beat at 12am, 31/12/2008, the last day of 2008.... haha..

but with that, a new year is here..!!! wohoo..!! was walking through the crowds to look for a good spot to catch the fireworks.. den a grp of duno who walked passed and actually said "happy new year to good couples like you guys..!!" lol... we qn mark for a while and continued walking with the crowd.. haha...

fireworks were nice and spectacular... although spent some time waiting, squeezing with mortals, bearing the human heat, standing around and stuff... but thot that it was all worth it after watching the fireworks and best of all, having him beside me.. =)

this yr's mooncake festival was great.. went down to the temple downstairs, there was a celebration goin on... bee hoon, curry, drinks, goodie bags and mooncakes were given out for free.. there were so many many many people with lion dance and a dragon.. so much noise, so happening.. haha.. there was a stage for singing perfomances and had a lucky draw too.. but i din win... lol.. nvm la.. had fun anyway.. burnt a few lanterns... haha... =]

sian man... 2nd week of holiday almost gone and i haven even started revising for the tests.. worse still, tmr goin out to celebrate father's day and next fri to sun having chalet again... the monday directly after the chalet is the start of my tests la... means i only have tmr (maybe), monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursday to study before goin for the chalet... but totally no mood to start studying la.. everyday thinking of what to do for fun and where to go only... omg...

hey.. duno how long nv blog liao... always lazy to come and update... having holidays right now but ending soon too.. first week of holiday is like so totally wasted on final year project.. the whole thing is so totally retarded.. not all the grp members are really "xxxxx"... sad case...

but once the first report is done, thats when holiday really started and spent really quality time doing great stuff.. esp with jiesi (pool, bowling, sweets thingy, watching movie, rotting, secret-ing, kbox-ing)... lol.. sad that kwek and jas have no holidays this time, otherwise if would have been better... but its ok, next holiday then..

been so busy since sch reopen... goin to school and working... everyday's schedule is like fully packed.. wad a boring life... so i've decided to stop working until the end of the MST... tmr is gonna be my last day at work.. wohoo~!!

wohoo~ today's one of the best day ever although we spent money like water.. lolx.. met up with jiesi jas and kwek at around 2.30, i tink... went to bugis and it was flooded with ppl.. zZzZz... ate at swenswen's... totally delicious~!! our table was as though we were having a feast... the bill was a bomb.... but nvm, we were happy... haha... walked and saw a necklace, it was nice and duno y all of us decided to buy one each... wasted our 15bucks.. BUT, nvm... it was nice... lolx..
den we walked again until we were bored so we decided to go east coast park... cab-ed there and went to eat... haha... our table was filled with food AGAIN... ordered a coconut each, a plate of cockles, bbq stingray, 20 satays, bbq chicken wings, sotongs... we finished everything but we ordered one more plate of cockles coz we wanted to play a game... onli the winner gets to eat... lolx.. was damn full after all that eating... wooo~ den we bought light sticks and slacked near the beach... talked, laughed, played, slacked and took photos... after everything we went to take cab again -- to go home... each of us spend at least 50 bucks today... best.. lolx... =)

back to my forever-so-busy life... this sem is much busier than the last coz i'm working part time too while studying... 3 weeks later need to hand in two individual project... zZzZz... this month is a fully packed month... attend school, do projects, go work, spend time with my besties and also prepare for my sis's wedding which is oso on the 3rd week from now... seriously need TIME to do so many things... I NEED TIME...

mooncake festival was well spent at east coast park with the fun old peeps.. haha... took a cab there and went to eat first... kwek was our joke then... she was forced to open the shells of the cockles for us but she didnt wan to... jiesi and me totally laughed.. but we were just joking, we're not that bad as to really made her do such things for us.. we decided not to order cockles in the end.. =D

had bbq chicken wings, bbq stingray, rojak and coconuts... den headed to the beach... nic was a real gentleman tat nite.. he dug a hole in the sand so that we could start our fire as the seaside wind was too strong.. the wind was really cooling.. but poor nic injured his hands after digging.. =]

we had 18 boxes of candles and 6 lanterns in total... jiesi kwek and me were burning happily while nic lie on the sand by the fire, enjoying the atmosphere... we burnt everything except 4 boxes of candles which we left out... it was really fun adding things to the fire to make it bigger... =)

went to the toilet and washed our hands... den went back to drink coconuts again... lolx... kwek and me shared a bowl of fishball soup too.. it was nice... by then all of us were tired so we got on a cab and went home... home sweet home at 12+am~ =>

there's this freaky guy who keeps staring at me when i'm at work on tues... the way he looks at me just give me the creeps... i was on off on wed and thur and my colleague who was working told me that he went to the shop everyday at ard 1+pm.... he just glanced in and walked away... she said that it seems like he was looking for me.. omg... tmr my work is frm 10am to 4pm, hope he wont appear...!!!

wooo.... finally i get to do ear piercing today... it's the first time i pierce someone's ear... totally exciting la, and scary at the same time... my hands were shaking a bit... haha... but felt better and my hands did not shake that much for the next few ears i pierced... it's really fun.. I LOVE EAR PIERCING.... (not on my ear la) lolx.... =D

last few days were great.... on thurs, accompanied my sis to go try her wedding gown while i try my bridesmaid outfit... the outfits were nice.. =) den on friday went to check into our chalet... totally fun there although sth bad happened, but overall it was FUN!! totally laughed until my energy was totally drained.... =D checked out at ard 10am and all of us went home immediately to slp... SLP IS PRECIOUS... haha... slept until ard 6+... it's his birthday on tat day... was really tired due to the previous night spent at the chalet, didnt felt like goin out with him actually... but it's his birthday so went to meet him.. was supposed to meet at 7.45pm but i was late, i met him at ard 8.30pm... lolx... sorry... reached home at ard 12+.. gd that he likes the present and i'm happy too... happiness in the both of us on that night.. bathed and went to slp liao... too tired to stay out late... =]

today is monday.. so fast..!!! it felt like it was yesterday, watching the fireworks... totally memorable... =) not much hope in today's paper i guess... all thanks to last-minute-studying... haha... now i can only pin all my hopes on tmr's Business Law paper... must really study for it and try to get an A if possible... there's so many things that i wanna do, but can only proceed with all the plannings after wednesday 11.10am... and i will WAIT for wednesday to come..!!

yesterday was a damn long day... was out since 7am in the morning until at night around 11.30pm, in total was 16hrs which is more than half a day... reached marina bay platform at around 8am and changed our shirts... work was alright initally as all we need to do was to tend the game stall until it rained heavily which destroyed everything... everything stopped when the rain came... games were closed, people finiding shelter and the stall behind us had good business selling umbrellas.... haha...

since we could do nothing. so we slacked... relaxing, at first.. we sat on the table and talked happily.. =) then a saviour pop out, bringing umbrellas to people who were stucked in the tentage, hiding from the rain... he gave us two umbrellas too... kwek and me shared one while jiesi and irene shared another... and that's the FUN part... haha... it was raining so heavily that the floors were wet like flooding... as we hurried towards the shelter, we stomped on water puddles.. all of us were wet in the end... the umbrellas are like of not much use? but we enjoyed getting wet.. lolx...

it was still drizzling after we had our lunch... the event personnel told us that everything have to stop due to the bad weather.. which means that all the stalls have to close... the guys did most of the carrying and moving of things while the gals did the dismantling.. our mood started to turn bad from that moment... many problems were faced.... problem with the "xiao hun hun" not doin work, problem of having to pick up litter under the rain, and the worst problem is from the "tu tou" giving us the bloody-hell attitude... so angry..

work ended at 5 and we were glad it's over... we headed to marina square and there were hell lots of people.. had our dinner at KFC then we walked around... played at the arcade... planned to watch the fireworks but an incident took place... misunderstanding really kills but good that it is cleared and proceeded with the plan of watching the fireworks... =)

went to esplanade.. jiesi and kwek wanted to eat Hagaan-Daz so we sat there... after that we went outdoor... waited in anticipation and finally... the fireworks brightened the sky AND our moods.. =) the fireworks were really beautiful... it was short but really worth watching...

went to the taxi stand after the fireworks but someone told us that taxis cant get in due to the road blockage... looking at all the people walking, we sat at the roadside to rest and played a little game.. haha.. then we tried calling for a cab but the operator service sucks... really booked a cab only on our second try calling the operator..

although yesterday was a damn long day with so many happenings. but the best thing of the day was the fireworks... =)

gonna study FMA later on... it's the only module that i've yet to start on coz it is time-cosuming... damn it... have been mugging for the exams these few days... totally no life.... lolx...

this is wad i've been doing since last sunday:
wake up at 12.30pm.. eat lunch and bathe..
start studying at 1pm until 6pm..
watch tv and eat dinner until 8pm...
den study again until 1am...
den slp.... zZzZzz..
so in total i studied for almost 10hrs/day..
duno y but totally no life... haha...

but tmr will be a day of relaxation..!! gonna work at marina bay there until 5pm.. den maybe watch a movie after that and there will be fireworks tmr night..!! SO WATCH IT.... haha... =)
